Since I don’t drink coffee, I’ve been unsure of what to submit to your wonderful Coffee Club, but as your blog has evolved it’s become about so much more than that. I decided to share something from my life that I think relates to how some people feel about their Coffee Break, yoga has been my safe place where I can relax and focus on my body. And I am always thrilled to get to share it with friends, and am really happy with how this photo turned out with Vex and Owen. I’ve never seen this tripod downward dog position before and I’m glad to share it with you and your beautiful blog.

Ninja - This is so so clever. I’ve thoroughly been enjoying your photos from this joint shoot in New York. It’s so humbling to know people who have such an eye for photography. I enjoy yoga as well and am a big fan of partner yoga - i’ve heard of this position it looks so much more majestic than i could have possibly imagined. Thanks to Owen and Vex for participating in this image as well!

I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply a herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
